Harry Moran completed the game without help from the bullpen as the Newark
Peppers defeated the hopeless Baltimore Terrapins in 10 innings by a score of
3 to 2 at Harrison Field.

Both teams had scored 2 runs after nine full innings. Newark came out the
victor in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Bill Rariden slapped a
single. One out later, Vin Campbell stepped in and he was walked
intentionally. Larry Strands then slapped a one-base hit giving Newark the
victory and sending the 3,594 home-town fans home happy. Newark had 8 hits
for the afternoon.

The win was credited to Moran(12-9) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Jack Quinn(8-16) ended up with the loss in relief.
