Frank Killen completed the game without help from the bullpen as the Pittsburg
Pirates bested the Baltimore Orioles 8 to 7 at Exposition Park.

Pittsburg took the lead for good in the bottom of the 7th inning scoring a
single run using 2 hits.  Baltimore was set down quietly in the 9th.

Killen(28-10) was the winner allowing 7 runs for the game. Bill Hawke(6-14)
was the losing pitcher.  He gave up 8 runs and 7 hits in 8 innings.

Pittsburg now has a record of 73-37.  With the loss Baltimore now has a record
of 45-65.
