Doc McJames was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the very potent Brooklyn Superbas really laid it on the
lifeless New York Giants 15 to 5.

The game started off with Brooklyn taking the lead in the first when they
tallied 2 runs on 1 hit.  Brooklyn lit up the scoreboard in the 5th inning
which saw them score 7 runs on 4 hits and the 6th inning when they had 4 runs
on 4 hits.  Brooklyn rapped out 14 hits for the afternoon.  

McJames(17-9) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 5 runs. Ed
Doheny(9-16) ended up with the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 14 hits and
10 walks in 9 innings.
