Kaiser Wilhelm went 9 solid innings as the Brooklyn Superbas beat the
Philadelphia Phillies by a score of 2 to 1.

Brooklyn came up with 1 run in the bottom of the 7th inning.  Brooklyn had 7
hits for the afternoon.  The victory was credited to Wilhelm(8-8) who went
the distance, allowing 1 run. Earl Moore(13-14) was given the loss.  

'He came out with good stuff,' Harry Lumley said about Wilhelm. 'He threw the
ball good from the first pitch on.'
