Les Moss rocketed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Rex Barney was on top of his
game, blanking Cleveland on just 1 hit at Cleveland Stadium as the Boston Red
Sox embarrassed the Cleveland Indians by the lopsided score of 14 to 0.

Moss had a good day at the plate. He bombed a two-run dinger in the 1st
inning and smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 5th inning. Boston
finished with 16 hits in the victory.

For Barney(17-7) it was his 3rd shutout this year. Bill Voiselle(7-9) took the
loss. He surrended 4 homeruns in his 3 innings.

'Barney just dominated us' losing pitcher Voiselle said. 'Hopefully we can
get to him the next time around'
