WEB GEMS- Bot 7th: Stan Musial robbed Roy Sievers of a base hit.

Al Rosen connected with a 'big fly' and had 3 RBI as the Washington Nationals
were badly beaten by the incredible Philadelphia-NL Phillies, 14 to 2.

Rosen was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors. He banged out a single in the 4th
inning, doubled bringing in a run in the 6th inning and blasted a two-run
home run in the 8th inning. Cloyd Boyer(4-3) got help from Frank Hiller who
pitched great and earned his 4th save.

Ken Raffensberger(8-13) was charged with the loss. He got hit hard, allowing
11 hits and 4 walks in 6 innings.
