Gus Weyhing tossed a complete game at Baseball Grounds where the Philadelphia
Phillies beat the Cincinnati Reds 7 to 5.

Philadelphia wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning when they
came up with 3 runs on 3 hits.  Philadelphia banged out 9 hits on the
afternoon.  

The win went to Weyhing(22-16) who allowed 5 runs in the game. Ice Box
Chamberlain(22-15) ended up with the loss.  He allowed 7 runs and 9 hits in 8
innings.
