Charlie Reilly hit 2 doubles and had 3 RBI and Doc McJames completed the game
without help from the bullpen at Boundary Field as the Washington Senators,
running on all cylinders, ripped the Louisville Colonels by a large 14 to 4
margin.

Louisville was unable to claim the lead after Washington went ahead in the 6th
inning when they tallied 3 runs on 3 hits.  Washington totaled 17 hits on the
afternoon.  

The winning pitcher was McJames(20-12) who allowed 4 runs for the game. Bill
Magee(5-12) was the losing pitcher.  He was unable to control the Washington
offense and allowed 17 hits and 4 walks in 8 innings.
