Toad Ramsey dominated striking out 13 Cincinnati batters at League Park where
the Louisville Colonels beat the Cincinnati Red Stockings 9 to
5.

Ramsey(35-24) had a solid outing for Louisville.  He allowed 13 hits and 1
walk in 9 innings.  Cincinnati out-hit Louisville 13 to 8, but Louisville
ended up with more runs.  

Tony Mullane(25-22) was the losing pitcher.  He allowed 8 hits and 2 walks in
9 innings.  'Everything felt great' Ramsey said. 'I had a good fastball, I
felt I could throw it by everybody today.'
