Ed Seward threw a 2 hitter as the Philadelphia Athletics topped the awful
Cleveland Blues by a score of 12 to 3 at Jefferson St Grounds.

Philadelphia set the tone of the game in the first inning as they scored 4
runs on 3 base hits.  That was all the runs Seward(24-13) needed.
Philadelphia simply wore out the Cleveland pitching staff, scoring in 6
different innings.
