Frank Killen launched 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and he allowed Al Buckenberger
to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the mighty Pittsburg Pirates
man-handled the Baltimore Orioles - the final score was 15 to 1.

Killen made sure the Pittsburg fans enjoyed themselves.  He smashed a two-run
homer in the 5th inning, smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 6th
inning and ripped a base-hit scoring a run in the 7th inning.  Pittsburg bats
were hot in the 5th inning which saw them score 6 runs on 5 hits and the 7th
inning which saw them plate 7 runs on 5 hits.  Pittsburg rapped out 16 hits
for the afternoon.  

The win went to Killen(29-10) who allowed 1 run in the game. The losing
pitcher was Kirtley Baker(6-5).  He got hit hard, allowing 14 hits and 4
walks in 6 and 1/3 innings.
