Gus Weyhing went the distance at Washington Park as the Brooklyn Superbas beat
the Pittsburg Pirates 6 to 2.

Brooklyn scored 5 runs in the decisive bottom of the 6th inning when they came
up with 4 base hits.  The highlight belonged to Bill Dahlen who brought the
crowd to their feet when he singled plating two runs.  Brooklyn rapped out 8
hits for the afternoon.  

Weyhing(6-5) allowed 2 runs on the game. Jack Chesbro(10-14) was given the
loss.  Wth the win Brooklyn now has a record of 60-48.  With this loss,
Pittsburg has a 7-3 record of late, 68-44 overall.
