John Reilly ripped 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Tony Mullane had a complete
game as the Cincinnati Reds crushed the lifeless Cleveland Spiders 16 to
1.

The Cincinnati fans enjoyed the offense provided by Reilly.  He smashed a
two-run homer in the 1st inning and clubbed a solo home run in the 4th
inning.  Cincinnati kept the scorekeepers busy in the 2nd inning which saw
them score 8 runs on 6 hits and the 4th inning when they had 4 runs on 4
hits.  Cincinnati finished with 16 hits in the victory.  

The victory went to Mullane(12-4) who went the distance allowing 1 run. Ed
Beatin(15-30) was tagged with the loss.  He surrendered 10 runs and 7 hits in
1 and 2/3 innings.
