Left fielder Bug Holliday had 4 hits and 2 RBI at League Park where the
Cincinnati Reds beat the Washington Senators in 11 innings by the score of 10
to 9.

The score was knotted at 8 after nine innings.  Cincinnati ended up winning it
in the 11th inning.  Jim Canavan opened up the inning nicely when he laced a
one-base hit.  Tom Parrott came next and he ripped a single.  After an out
was recorded, Bill Merritt then lashed a single bringing in a run.  After
another out, Dummy Hoy came up and he singled to load the bases.  Holliday
came up to bat and lined a base-hit giving Cincinnati the win and sending the
home town fans into a frenzy.  Cincinnati rapped out 16 hits for the
afternoon.  

The winning pitcher was Bill Whitrock(3-6) who allowed 1 run in 2 innings.
George Haddock(2-9) was tagged with the loss in relief.
