Billy Hamilton smacked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Kid Carsey pitched a
complete game as the blistering-hot Philadelphia Phillies outscored the
reeling Louisville Colonels 12 to 5.

It was a good day for Philadelphia thanks to Hamilton.  He smashed a
bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 1st inning and lofted a three-run 'big-fly' in
the 3rd inning.  Philadelphia managed 14 hits in their victory.  

The victory was credited to Carsey(19-14) who went the distance, allowing 5
runs. The losing pitcher was Ducky Holmes(0-1).  He was touched for 14 hits
and 6 walks in 8 innings.  

For Philadelphia, the victory kept their winning streak on the march.
