Bill Donovan went the distance and Germany Schaefer had 2 base hits and 3 RBI
at Bennett Park where the Detroit Tigers beat the St. Louis Browns by the
score of 10 to 7.

Detroit scored 5 runs in the 7th inning when they had 5 base hits. The

shaky pitching kept them from victory.

Donovan(14-12) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 7 runs. Jim
Buchanan(2-9) was the losing pitcher. He was knocked around by Detroit,
allowing 15 hits and 3 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.
