Howie Camnitz was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and Tommy Leach had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Pittsburgh
Pirates beat the St. Louis Cardinals by a score of 14 to 5.

Camnitz(21-8) gave a fine effort for Pittsburgh.  He went 9 innings and
surrended up 9 hits and 3 walks.  Pittsburgh finished with 14 hits in the
victory.  

Gene Woodburn(0-4) suffered the loss.  Wth the win Pittsburgh now has a record
of 85-46.  With the loss St. Louis now has a record of 63-64.
