Jeff Pfeffer hurled a fine complete game shutout and Gus Getz had 3 base hits
as the Brooklyn Robins defeated the New York Giants 7 to 0 at Polo
Grounds.

Pfeffer(17-7) contributed a very nicely pitched game.  He allowed only 7 hits
and 3 walks in 9 innings.  Brooklyn rapped out 14 hits for the afternoon.

Marty O'Toole(4-6) was the loser.  He allowed 10 hits and 3 walks in 6 and 2/3
innings.  Brooklyn extended their winning streak to 6 games. Wilbert Robinson
was thrilled following the game -- 'We're really on a roll now.  These guys
are playing their hearts out and I couldn't be happier for them!'
