Larry Cheney had a complete game and Wilbur Good had 3 base hits and 2 RBI as
the Chicago Cubs defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates by a score of 11 to 5 at
Forbes Field.

Chicago took the lead for good in the 5th inning scoring a single run.  Good
was hit by a pitch.  Good swiped second base.  After an out was recorded,
Heinie Zimmerman then ripped a base-knock scoring the run.  Chicago banged
out 16 hits on the afternoon.  

Cheney(18-16) was the winner allowing 5 runs for the game. George
McQuillan(11-12) suffered the loss.  He pitched 6 innings allowing 7 hits and
1 walk.
