John Grim followed and he was walked intentionally. Bob Pettit then laced a one-base hit scoring the run. Milwaukee banged out 15 hits on the afternoon. The win was credited to Killen(2-4) who went the whole way allowing 9 runs. Frank Foreman(14-16) was the losing pitcher. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 15 hits and 5 walks in 8 innings.
