Oscar Jones pitched a complete game as the Brooklyn Superbas bested the
Pittsburgh Pirates 4 to 3 at Exposition Park.

Brooklyn came up with 2 runs in the 4th inning with the help of 3 hits.  It
was enough to earn the victory.  The pitchers took over after the 4th inning
as neither team was able to score again.  

Jones(20-11) finished the game allowing 3 runs in the victory. Sam
Leever(18-13) was the loser.  He surrendered 9 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings.
