Cherokee Fisher was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and John Radcliff hit 2 doubles and had 3 RBI as the Baltimore
Canaries topped the Boston Red Stockings by a score of 13 to 6 at Newington
Park.

Fisher(6-2) gave Baltimore a solid outing.  He went 9 innings surrendering 10
hits and 1 walk.  The Baltimore offense man-handled the Boston pitching staff
as they scored in 7 of the 9 innings.  

Al Spalding(33-4) was given the loss.  Baltimore scored big getting 13 runs
off him in 8 innings.  Baltimore now has a record of 25-18.  With an
impressive recent record of 8-2, Boston hopes this will only be an isolated
loss - followed by another nice run.
