Cliff Carroll ripped 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Bill Hutchison hurled a 3
hitter at West Side Park as the Chicago Colts belted the awful Cleveland
Spiders by the count of 13 to 2.

Carroll enjoyed a great day at the plate. Every time he came up in the latter
innings, the crowd was on their feet cheering.  He cleared the fences for a
two-run home run in the 1st inning, doubled plating a run in the 4th inning
and clubbed a solo home run in the 8th inning.  Chicago dominated offensively
as they scored in 6 different innings.  

Hutchison(38-18) lasted until the end allowing 2 runs for the win. Cy
Young(1-7) suffered the loss.  He allowed 11 hits and 3 walks in 6 and 1/3
innings.  

Chicago extended their winning streak to 6 games.
