WEB GEMS- Bot 2nd: Danny Green robbed George Davis of a Homerun!

The Detroit Tigers broke out of their 6 game losing streak and had an easy
time of it at Bennett Park defeating the hopeless Washington Senators by a
score of 7 to 2.

Detroit had 5 runs cross the plate in the 2nd inning when they came up with 5
base hits. That early run support was all that George Mullin(17-11)
required. Detroit out-hit Washington for the game, 10 hits to 6.

Bob Ewing(7-17) was the loser. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 8 hits and 2
walks in 4 innings.
