Left fielder Frank Huelsman had 5 hits and 3 RBI and Doc White allowed Andy
Spector to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game at Palace Of The Fans as
the Philadelphia-AL Athletics beat the Cincinnati Reds by the count of 10 to
2.

Huelsman was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors. He stroked a base-hit in the 2nd
inning, stroked a single in the 4th inning, laced a base-knock plating two
runs in the 6th inning, tripled in the 8th inning and lined a one-base hit
which plated a run in the 9th inning. Philadelphia-AL banged out 13 hits on
the afternoon.

White(14-13) lasted until the end allowing 2 runs for the win. Buster
Brown(7-13) was charged with the loss. He allowed 6 hits and 4 walks in 6
and 2/3 innings.
