TEAM RISP- Senators: 4 for 17 Pirates: 9 for 19
WEB GEMS- Top 1st: Jake Stenzel robbed Frank Scheibeck of an extra base hit.
Bot 2nd: Bill Hassamaer robbed Patsy Donovan of a Homerun!

Center fielder Jake Stenzel had 4 hits and 2 RBI at Exposition Park as the
Pittsburg Pirates came back dramatically to top the Washington Senators by
the score of 14 to 13.

Pittsburg scored the winning runs in the 9th inning when they tallied 5 runs
on 5 hits. The critical plate appearance was by Joe Sugden who brought a
roar from the partisan Exposition Park fans when he hit a single bringing in
two baserunners. Due to a poorly pitched ballgame, scoring in 5 different
innings was still not enough for Washington to come away with the victory.

The win went to Tom Colcolough(6-8) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. George
Haddock(2-10) was given the loss. He was touched for 17 hits and 7 walks in
8 and 1/3 innings.

'Now that is what I call fun! I just love baseball, especially games like
this, of course,' Al Buckenberger offered. 'Everyone at the stadium had a
great time - did you see the fans go wild there at the end?!'
