Left fielder Honus Wagner had 4 hits and 5 RBI at Baker Bowl as the Pittsburgh
Pirates belted the awful Philadelphia Phillies by the count of 15 to
1.

Wagner enjoyed a big day at the plate.  He slapped a base-hit in the 4th
inning, ripped a single in the 6th inning, lined a one-base hit which was
good for two runs in the 7th inning and lofted a three-run bomb in the 9th
inning.  Pittsburgh lit up the scoreboard in the 1st inning which saw them
plate 4 runs on 5 hits and the 3rd inning when they had 4 runs on 4 hits.
Pittsburgh finished with 22 hits while Philadelphia ended up with 5.  

The win went to Sam Leever(18-2) who allowed 1 run in 8 innings. Bill
Duggleby(6-19) ended up with the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 20 hits
and 2 walks in 8 and 2/3 innings.
