TEAM RISP- Superbas: 5 for 14 Cubs: 4 for 14

Bill Reidy completed the game without help from the bullpen as the Brooklyn
Superbas outscored the Chicago Cubs 8 to 7.

The game was won by Brooklyn with a run in the top of the 9th inning. Sammy
Strang drew a walk. Two outs later Strang was safe on a stolen base. Jack
Doyle then was walked intentionally. Bill Dahlen followed and he stroked a
base-hit scoring the run. Dahlen took second on the throw. The score went
back-and-forth with the lead changing 5 times.

Reidy(5-5) got the victory, allowing 7 runs for the game. Bob Wicker(15-10)
was the loser. Brooklyn now has a record of 64-60. Chicago will hope that
this loss is only a 'blip' on their recent 8-2 run - and not a start of a new
trend.
