The Detroit Tigers had an easy time of it at League Park defeating the
Cleveland Naps in 11 innings by a score of 10 to 4.
The score was tied at 4 after nine. Detroit won it in the 11th inning. The
key offensive moment was provided by Ty Cobb who silenced the stadium when he
doubled clearing the bases. Cleveland out-hit Detroit 12 to 8, but Detroit
ended up with more runs.
