Pink Hawley had a complete game at Eclipse Park where the Pittsburg Pirates
beat the pathetic Louisville Colonels 6 to 4.

Pittsburg scored 3 runs in the top of the 6th inning when they had 4 base
hits. It was enough scoring to earn the victory. Pittsburg rapped out 9
hits for the afternoon.

Hawley(10-19) finished the game allowing 4 runs in the victory. Chick
Fraser(7-22) was the loser. 'I had a little blister on my index finger
before the game, but I thought it was nothing.' Hawley said. 'I was lucky I
got a win because I couldn't put the ball where I wanted it.'
