the New York-AL Highlanders beat the St. Louis-AL Browns in 10 innings by a
score of 6 to 5.
The score was tied at 5 after nine. New York-AL won the hard fought contest
in the 10th inning. Seybold doubled. Wid Conroy stepped up to the plate and
he laid down a sacrifice bunt. Billy Clingman then reached on an error
resulting in an exciting win for New York-AL and a raucous post-game
celebration by the home town fans. New York-AL had a total of 11 hits for
the game.
Jones(19-11) was the winner allowing 5 runs for the game. Harry Howell(5-8)
