Marty O'Toole threw a 2 hitter and Honus Wagner touched them all at Baker Bowl
where the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Philadelphia Phillies in 10 innings 3
to 2.

The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings. Pittsburgh was
victorious in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Bobby Byrne laced
a base-knock. Max Carey was next and he ripped a base-knock. Tom Seaton
then picked Carey off first base. Mike Donlin followed next and he hit a
single scoring the run. Pittsburgh took care of Philadelphia with no trouble
in the bottom of the 10th.

O'Toole(11-17), allowing 2 runs for the game, picked up the victory.
Seaton(7-16) absorbed the loss. 'O'Toole gave us exactly what we needed
today.' Fred Clarke said. 'When he threw the fastball he threw it for
strikes. They were really fooled by his change. Most of the time he had
them chasing it.'
