One run was the difference at Municipal Stadium as the phenomenal Cleveland
Indians defeated the Cincinnati Reds in 10 innings 4 to 3.

The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings.  Finally, Cleveland prevailed
in the 10th inning.  Eddie Joost lined a base-hit.  Andy Pafko came next and
he ripped a base-knock.  Eddie Stanky then was walked intentionally to load
the bases.  After an out was recorded, Aaron Robinson stepped up to the plate
and he ripped a single giving Cleveland the win much to the delight of the
home town crowd.  Cleveland ended up with 16 hits for the game while
Cincinnati had 7.  

The victory went to Howie Pollet(7-12) who went 1 inning, allowing no runs.
The loss was charged to Ken Heintzelman(2-5) in relief.  He pitched 2/3 of an
inning and surrendered 4 hits and 1 walk.
