Hugh Daily completed the game without help from the bullpen at Recreation Park
where the Cleveland Blues beat the pathetic Philadelphia Quakers by the score
of 16 to 13.

In the top of the 4th inning Cleveland scored 11 runs when they had 11 base
hits.  The highlight belonged to Pete Hotaling who deflated the spirits of
the home town crowd when he doubled clearing all three ducks off the pond.
Cleveland kept the scorekeepers busy in the 4th inning when they had 11 runs
on 11 hits.  Cleveland had 17 hits for the afternoon.  

The win was credited to Daily(18-20) who went the whole way allowing 13 runs.
The loss was charged to John Coleman(11-44).  He was knocked around,
surrendering 16 runs in 9 innings.
