outmatched New York-NL Giants, 14 to 0.
Chicago-NL claimed the early lead in the first inning when they scored 2 runs
on 3 hits. The early run support proved sufficient for Chesbro(10-9) and
Chicago-NL. That was all the run support Chesbro required. Chicago-NL lit
up the scoreboard in the 6th inning which saw them score 8 runs on 10 hits.
Chicago-NL had many opportunities throughout the game and scored in 6
