At Comiskey Park the Chicago White Sox easily handled the hopeless New York
Highlanders by the score of 5 to 1.

Doc White(6-11) pitched well for Chicago in their victory.  He went 7 and 1/3
innings allowing 8 hits and 1 walk.  Chicago finished with 9 hits in the
victory.  

White got relief help from Ed Walsh who gained credit for his 2nd save.  Ray
Keating(0-1) was the loser.  He gave up 9 hits and 1 walk in 7 and 2/3
innings.  

The Chicago ballclub's record now stands at 59-76.  With the loss, the New
York ballclub's record is 51-84.
