TEAM RISP- Bisons: 4 for 10 Pirates: 5 for 14

Deacon White had 2 base hits and 2 RBI at South Side Park as the Buffalo
Bisons beat the Chicago Pirates 7 to 5.

Buffalo promptly took the lead in their half of the first scoring one runner
utilizing 2 base hits. Chicago was not lacking for run support as they
scored in 5 separate innings, yet victory eluded them as they seemed to
forget that pitching is also needed to win ballgames.

Bert Cunningham(9-23) got credit for the victory, pitching 8 and 1/3 innings
and allowing 5 runs. George Keefe recorded his 2nd save. The loss was
charged to Silver King(28-16). He got hit hard, allowing 12 hits and 4 walks
in 8 and 2/3 innings.

'It wasn't my best outing, but I'll take the win' Cunningham said.
