Doggie Miller hit 3 doubles and had 4 RBI and Dewey McDougal went the distance
as the St. Louis Browns defeated the Cleveland Spiders 12 to 10 at Robison
Field.

Miller helped send the fans home happy.  He doubled clearing the bases in the
2nd inning, doubled in the 5th inning and doubled in the 6th inning.  This
was the kind of game that many fans love as the lead changed hands 5 times.

The win went to McDougal(2-6) who allowed 10 runs in the game. The losing
pitcher was Phil Knell(2-19).  He was knocked around, surrendering 12 runs in
8 innings.
