Baseballs were flying all over the ballpark as the Cleveland Naps ran
roughshod over the seemingly hapless Washington Nationals.  The Cleveland
offense rolled up a total of 10 runs!.

Fred Blanding(1-0) gave a fine effort for Cleveland.  He went 7 and 1/3
innings and surrended up 6 hits and 1 walk.  Cleveland banged out 9 hits on
the afternoon.  

Walter Johnson(24-10) ended up with the loss.  He was knocked around pretty
good, giving up 10 runs in 8 innings.
