Center fielder Bob Addis touched them all at Fenway Park as the Washington
Nationals beat the awful Boston-AL Red Sox 9 to 4.

Washington jumped out to the early lead in the first inning scoring a single
run using 2 hits.  Ray Boone doubled.  After an out was recorded, Harvey
Kuenn came up and he banged out a single.  Joe Garagiola then hit a deep fly
scoring the run.  Despite losing, Boston-AL out-hit Washington 15 to 11.

The victory was credited to Duane Pillette(4-3) who went 8 innings, allowing 4
runs. Johnny Klippstein(9-11) was the losing pitcher.  He was knocked around
by Washington, allowing 8 hits and 5 walks in 5 innings.
