Pete Wood pitched a complete game as the Buffalo Bisons beat the Philadelphia
Quakers in 10 innings by a score of 4 to 3.

The score was tied at 3 after nine.  Finally, Buffalo pulled the game out in
the 10th inning.  Jack Rowe stroked a one-base hit.  Deacon White was next
and he delivered a base-hit.  After an out was recorded, Dan Stearns then
drew a walk to load the bases.  After another out, George Myers came up and
he reached on an error resulting in an exciting win for Buffalo and a wild
post-game celebration by the home town fans.  Buffalo had a total of 10 hits
for the game.  

Wood(6-13) got the victory, allowing 3 runs for the game. The Only Nolan(3-12)
was the loser in relief.  He was the victim of a defensive lapse and did not
allow an earned run in the game.
