Charlie Ferguson completed the game without help from the bullpen as the
Philadelphia Quakers topped the ice-cold Indianapolis Hoosiers by a score of
13 to 6 at Athletic Park.

Indianapolis never recovered after Philadelphia took the lead in the 2nd
inning when they tallied 4 runs on 4 hits.  Philadelphia had 8 hits for the
afternoon.  

The win was credited to Ferguson(15-9) who went the whole way allowing 6 runs.
Lev Shreve(1-7) was given the loss.  He was knocked around, surrendering 13
runs in 9 innings.  

Philadelphia continued on their recent roll, their winning streak now reaching
6 games and counting. 'We're on quite a roll lately' said Harry Wright.  'I
just hope we can keep it going.'
