Willie Keeler had 2 base hits and scored 3 times at South End Grounds as the
Baltimore Orioles pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the Boston
Beaneaters by the count of 9 to 6.

Baltimore had the game winning rally in the top of the 9th inning as they
scored 5 runs on 5 base hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Joe Kelley
who silenced the crowd when he delivered a single plating two runs.
Baltimore out-hit Boston for the game, 13 hits to 10.  

George Hemming(18-11) went 8 innings allowing 6 runs for the win. Duke Esper
earned his 4th save.  Jack Stivetts(17-12) was the loser.  He allowed
Baltimore 9 runs in 8 and 1/3 innings of work.  

'We just kept swinging the bats and didn't give up,' Keeler said. 'If you just
keep trying good things can happen!'
