Casey Patten allowed Jim Manning to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game
as the Washington Senators topped the Boston Americans by a score of 6 to 2
at Huntington Ave Grnds.

The deciding run was scored by Washington in the 8th.  After an out was
recorded, Mike Grady singled.  Jim Manning then called for a steal which was
successful.  Charlie Luskey then drew a walk.  Bill Coughlin stepped in and
he doubled scoring the run.  Washington managed 9 hits in their victory.

Patten(10-17) allowed 2 runs on the game. Ted Lewis(11-14) took the loss. He
pitched 8 innings giving up 8 hits and 6 walks.
