Tony Mullane had a complete game as the Cincinnati Red Stockings defeated the
ice-cold Louisville Colonels 6 to 3 at Eclipse Park.

Mullane(9-11) pitched well for Cincinnati in their victory.  He went 9 innings
allowing 7 hits and no walks.  Both teams ended up with 7 hits on the
afternoon.  

John Ewing(11-21) was charged with the loss.  He was pinned with the loss
despite not allowing an earned run in his 9 innings of work.
