Third baseman John Irwin had 2 base hits and 2 RBI and Bert Cunningham was
able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete game as the
Buffalo Bisons bested the Chicago Pirates 11 to 8 at South Side Park.

In the top of the 6th inning Buffalo scored 6 runs with the help of 3 hits.
The big moment was provided by Irwin who deflated the crowd as he tripled
plating two runs.  Buffalo totaled 12 hits on the afternoon.  

The win went to Cunningham(10-23) who allowed 8 runs in the game. Mark
Baldwin(26-21) was the losing pitcher.  He was touched for 12 hits and 3
walks in 9 innings.
