Chief Zimmer had 3 base hits and 2 RBI and Jack Chesbro blanked St. Louis in a
very well-pitched complete game as the strong Pittsburgh Pirates clobbered
the outmatched pathetic St. Louis Cardinals, 11 to 0.

Chesbro(21-9) was very good in the win.  He allowed just 7 hits and 2 walks in
9 innings.  Pittsburgh rapped out 16 hits for the afternoon.  

Alex Pearson(4-6) absorbed the loss.  He got hit pretty hard, allowing 16 hits
and 3 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings.
