Jack Quinn pitched a complete game at Hilltop Park as the New York Highlanders
beat the Cleveland Naps by the count of 6 to 1.

New York won the game with a rally in the 8th inning as they scored 5 runs on
5 base hits.  The big moment was provided by Clyde Engle who made the crowd
come alive when he laced a base-hit scoring two baserunners.  The game was a
scoreless duel until the 7th inning.  

The victory went to Quinn(7-6) who went the distance allowing 1 run. Harry
Otis(0-3) ended up with the loss.  He was unable to control the New York
offense and allowed 13 hits and 3 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings.
