Third baseman Del Pratt had 2 base hits and 3 RBI as the blistering-hot St.
Louis-AL Browns topped the Detroit Tigers by a score of 10 to 8 at
Sportsman'S Park.

St. Louis-AL went ahead for good in the bottom of the 7th inning scoring 3
runners on 3 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Pratt who made
the crowd come alive when he delivered a one-base hit which was good for two
runs. St. Louis-AL banged out 13 hits on the afternoon.

The winning pitcher was Ed Walsh(25-10) who allowed 2 runs in 5 innings. Walsh
got help from Hank Robinson who was credited with his 47th save. Bob
Harmon(9-12) took the loss. He was touched for 10 hits and 5 walks in 6 and
1/3 innings.

It was another victory for St. Louis-AL at Sportsman'S Park. Now their winning
streak stands at 8 games. 'We're on quite a roll lately' said Tim Singer. 'I
just hope we can keep it going.'
