Gus Getz had 2 base hits and Raleigh Aitchison was able to finish what he
started and was credited with a complete game at Ebbets Field as the Brooklyn
Robins beat the Chicago Cubs 2 to 1.

Aitchison(8-6) was solid in the win. He surrendered only 7 hits and 1 walk in
9 innings.  Brooklyn managed only 6 hits on the afternoon.  

Larry Cheney(19-17) ended up with the loss.  Wth the win Brooklyn now has a
record of 64-70.  Chicago will hope that this loss is only a 'blip' on their
recent 9-1 run - and not a start of a new trend.
